This website is operated by Kintail House. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Kintail House.

By visiting our website or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms of Service, together with our Return and Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and any other policies displayed on this website.

Please read these terms before using our website or placing an order. If you do not agree with them, you should not use the website.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes rights available to consumers under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, Fair Trading Act 1986, or other applicable law.

Using our online store

Customers are responsible for checking product details and selecting the correct item, size, clan, tartan, colour, design, or other option before submitting an order.

Prices and payment

Unless stated otherwise, prices are displayed in New Zealand dollars and include applicable GST.

Delivery charges and any other applicable costs are shown during checkout before an order is submitted.

We may change prices or correct genuine pricing, description, or availability errors. If an error affects an order that has already been placed, we will contact you before processing it. You may cancel the affected order for a full refund if you do not wish to proceed on the corrected terms.

Payment must be successfully authorised using one of the payment methods offered at checkout.

Orders

Submitting an order does not guarantee that it has been accepted. We may decline or cancel an order for legitimate reasons, including product unavailability, an obvious pricing or description error, suspected fraud, payment failure, or an inability to fulfil or deliver the order.

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the affected amount to the original payment method.

You must provide complete and accurate contact, billing, delivery, and order information. Please contact us promptly if you notice an error. We cannot guarantee that details can be changed once an order has been processed or dispatched.

We may limit quantities purchased by a person, household, account, payment method, or delivery address where reasonably necessary.

Delivery

We deliver according to the options and locations shown at checkout. Any delivery timeframe is an estimate unless we expressly agree otherwise.

We are not responsible for delays outside our reasonable control, but this does not affect any rights or remedies you have under New Zealand law.

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate and accessible delivery address. Additional delivery costs resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address may be charged where permitted by law.

Returns, refunds, and faulty products

Returns, refunds, repairs, and replacements are handled according to our Return and Refund Policy and applicable New Zealand law.

We do not accept returns solely because a customer has changed their mind, including where the wrong item, size, clan, tartan, colour, or design was selected. This does not affect rights relating to goods that are faulty, damaged, not as described, or otherwise fail to meet a legal guarantee.
